Persian New Year Festival 2021 Safety Plan
- Masks
- We will be adhering to and complying with the city’s mask/face covering requirement.
- Masks must be worn at all times covering both the nose and mouth
- Failure to comply - will be asked to leave
- Instructions to volunteers: For the mask to be the most effective, it must fit as snugly as possible to the face, covering the chin, mouth, and nose up to the nose bridge. The mask should not be below the nose or worn at the tip of their nose. The mask should fit tightly against the face.

- Social Distancing
- Stickers on the ground to act as place holders for 6 ft apart
- Volunteers to remind guests to stay socially distanced
- Volunteers to remind guests to be patient and let everyone have a turn looking at installation
- Stanchions in front of the art installation will have volunteers at both ends to ensure social distancing, during viewing.
- Signage
- Stickers to enforce social distancing on ground
- Signage for social distancing and covid guidelines at the entrance
- Stanchions/Route
- Pre-planned route for viewing of the Haftseen art installation
- Allowing a limited number of guests to go through route to keep social distancing
- Volunteers to enforce route/patience among guests
- Stanchions to enforce social distancing, route, and organize the crowd
- Stanchions to be sprayed with disinfectant multiple times during the day
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Disposable masks to be provided for all volunteers, guests
- Hand sanitizer at beginning and end of stanchion route
- Hand sanitizer will be given to each volunteer for personal and frequent use
- Antibacterial spray to disinfect installations every hour
- Disposable gloves provided for volunteers
- Crowd Management
- At the event, 1 guest or a family in the same household will be allowed to enter at a time.
- Volunteers will be responsible for crowd control
