About the Festival
For over 3,000 years every Spring, the Persian New Year has been celebrating family, community, food, music and dance. In 2019, the Persian New Year Festival drew an estimated 6,000 happy participants with rave reviews!
The festival received promotions from major television networks, radio stations, print publications and community & event websites.
In 2020 the second annual Persian New Year Festival will be held at the beautiful Scottsdale Waterfront. We are diligently working on another fantastic cultural family program.
Partnership
The Persian New Year Festival is a partner of the Arizona Persian Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Beneficiary
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Ivy Brain Tumor Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute. The Ivy Brain Tumor Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute was created by the Ben & Catherine Ivy Foundation in coordination with the Barrow Neurological Foundation.
The center offers a bold approach to identify effective new experimental therapies for malignant brain tumors, including glioblastoma. Patients receive individualized care in a fraction of the time and cost associated with traditional research and development.
